Work in Progress VENUS

Now that the Base has been drilled for a large Screw Bolt that will connect the Wedge to the Base, I can work on the Standing Sculpture.

I'm layering a thin coat of Clear Resin to all sides, 2 flat and 1 Bark. I'm LOVING the drips that are naturally occurring as I try to coat the gnarly bark. It works its way through the groves and then leaps off the edge of curves. It gives the imagination the idea of water working its way down to the base of a small pond with Koi Fish after a gentle rainfall.

This is a work in progress and I'm loving every minute of it. Follow along and check back soon.
